The winter storm has moved in, and school has been called off for Thursday for all Piedmont Public School classes.
“Due to winter weather and hazardous road conditions, all Piedmont Public Schools classes and activities are canceled Thursday, February 3rd,” the district reported.
District leaders will continue to closely monitor the situation, and will update families of any possible closures for Friday. The Total Wellness Clinic at Northwood Elementary is closed Thursday, according to a statement.
Schools were closed Wednesday after a winter storm warning was issued.
