Students in Piedmont Public Schools will be off for a snow day Wednesday as a winter storm warning is in effect.
“Due to expected inclement weather, Piedmont Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 2. classes and activities are canceled,” a statement from the district reads.
Wednesday will not be a virtual learning day.
District officials will continue to monitor the weather situation and families will be updated on any possible closures for Thursday and Friday.
The Total Wellness Clinic at Northwood Elementary was closed for Wednesday and Thursday.
