A Piedmont School Board seat could be up for election in February, and interested candidates can file for the post starting Monday.
The Ward 2 seat on the Piedmont board seat will be open. Currently, School Board President Dustin Yowell serves on the board in Ward 2.
Those interested in filing for the post can do so at the Canadian County Election Board from 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8.
The Canadian County Election Board is located at 200 S. Bickford in El Reno.
The primary election would be Tuesday, Feb. 8 with a run-off if needed on Tuesday, April 5.
