The nonprofit Yukon 66 Main Street Association, Y66MSA, is hosting “Style on 66 Fashion Show & Brunch,” with an optional shop crawl following, to highlight Yukon’s historic Main Street corridor on Route 66.
Scheduled for May 15, the fashion show and brunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. at 10 W. Main Event Center.
The event’s chair and owner of Urban Boondocks Market, Desiree Reid said, “No matter your personal style, Main Street’s collection of unique shops offers goods and services from timeless to trendy, western to modern, retro to traditional, and everything in between. Shopping local has never been more rewarding!”
Models will strut their stuff on the catwalk, wearing ensembles from stores located on Yukon’s historic Main Street.
Yukon’s historic Main Street corridor is home to numerous iconic and historic structures.
And Y66MSA’s mission is to promote and enhance Yukon’s rich cultural heritage, nurture an
entrepreneurial environment, and position the Main Street district as a destination.
The volunteer-driven group targets the idea of active living in a culturally-driven tourist destination.
