The boys season ended with a record of 10-4. Coach Jimmy Fermin said the team has been the best in the program’s history.

Piedmont opened the match Tuesday night facing a steady Irish attack, and the Wildcats were unable to get the ball to forward Ethan Rouse, and spent much of the first half defending their goal and a number of shots taken by Irish that were near misses. Goalie Talon Cope, a junior, staved off the Irish attack with saves in the first half. In the second half McGuinness scored on a penalty kick after a foul in the box.
