The Piedmont Wildcats baseball team knocked off El Reno Tuesday night in a home game.
The Wildcats are 23-3 under Coach Adam Skokowski.
In the game Tuesday night, senior pitcher Bo Phelps led the team to a 12-2 victory.
Phelps only surrendered two runs on six hits. The Wildcats’ bats blasted 12 runs on 12 hits and were led at the plate by senior Dillon Dibrell, juniors Cole Riggs and Dax Priddy and sophomore Cole Girard.
Piedmont won 9-0 over El Reno at El Reno Monday night.
Piedmont has defeated 6A Edmond Memorial, 9-6, March 18, and Kingfisher, 4A, 17-16 in the April 3 Edward Jones Classic Tournament.
The team has games remaining against Tulsa Union, 6A, 7:30 p.m. April 23;, at Carl Albert, April 26 and home against Carl Albert on April 27, both games are at 6 p.m. Piedmont plays at Deer Creek 5 p.m. April 29.
The Wildcats are 10-0 in district games. They will play 5 p.m. Thursday at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School.
