“We are sponsoring the City Egg Hunt again this year and once again we are stuffing 8,000 eggs!” according to The Bridge’s website before the big Easter hunt day a day before Easter Sunday, another cold and wet day too mostly this year.

Pastor of The Bridge, The Rev. Jason Taylor said there was a good crowd on April 20 at the city egg hunt despite the rain that did show up as rain stopped and started.

Asked how it was going Saturday morning he said, “Fantastic.” Then he chuckled, as raindrops fell. “It’s been amazing.”

“We along with several other organizations partner with the city stuff as many eggs as we can so that the kids can have a great time,” Taylor said.

He said he has been helping with the event for seven years.
