Piedmont basketball tips off Tuesday at PCN

The Piedmont High School basketball teams take on the Putnam City North High School teams on the road Tuesday night, but not too far from home, as the 2024-2025 campaign starts up.

The Lady Wildcats game is at 6 p.m. followed by the boys.

The Putnam City North gym is 11.2 miles from Piedmont’s home court, about a 22 minute drive to 11800 N Rockwell Ave in northwest Oklahoma City.

The boys under Coach Brian Beale made their debut in Class 6A in 2023-2024 and ended with a 16-8 overall record. The boys were 10-6 in District 1, finishing fourth.

The girls under Coach Joe Crawford 2023-2024 season ended with a 3-point loss to Norman High School in regionals. The 2023-2024 record was 12-15 overall, 8-10 in 6A District 1.

The 2024-2025 schedule shows the following dates, times, opponents and locations. Girls games start at 6 p.m. followed by the boys’ team about 7:30 p.m. Home games are at the Wildcat Athletic Center. The schedule follows:
