All Piedmont Schools sites were delayed three hours Monday morning due to possible severe weather, including potential flooding, strong winds, and a chance of tornadoes.
All bus pick-up times are pushed back three hours, according to an announcement from the district Monday morning.
The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for Canadian County and the surrounding area until Monday morning at 10 a.m.
There is a possibility of high winds up to 70 mph, tornadoes, and heavy rain between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. in the Oklahoma City metro area.
In Piedmont, Morning Clubhouse is also canceled.
The Sophomore CV Tech trip scheduled for today will be rescheduled at a later date. Breakfast will not be served at school Monday, but lunch service will continue as planned, district officials reported.

Northwood Elementary: 11:45 a.m.
Piedmont Elementary: 11:45 a.m.
Stone Ridge Elementary: 11:45 a.m.
Piedmont Intermediate: 10:50 a.m.
Middle School of Piedmont: 10:50 a.m.
Piedmont High School: 10:50 a.m.
