The offense is humming along. The defense is tough. Special teams are great.

Things are looking good with playoffs in 6A-2 approaching for the Piedmont Wildcats who travel to Lawton Eisenhower High School for a 7 p.m. Friday night game Oct. 18. The Wildcats beat U.S. Grant 62-0 in their last outing. The Wildcats were ranked third in 6A-2 District 1 as of Tuesday, Oct. 15 with a 4-2 record, 2-1 in district play.

Coach Jeff Hall said as long as the offense can prevent turnovers, they can continue to show improvement which means, success, and victory.

“Our offense has played well,” Hall said. “The special teams are good. I feel really good,” Hall said.

Piedmont also has a game with Stillwater coming up on Halloween in Stillwater. Before that, there is a home game.

In the last outing against Grant, the opening kickoff was returned for a touchdown by freshman Knoxtyn Rallo.

Look for more firepower and production tonight. Lawton Eisenhower goes into the game with a record of 2-4.

Lawton Ike was drilled by Stillwater 66-20 on Sept. 27. They lost 70-0 to Carl Albert Sept. 12.

The game 7 p.m. Friday night will be at Cameron Stadium on Black and Gold Blvd. on the Cameron University campus, 2800 Gore Blvd. in Lawton, 73505. The drive is about two and a half hours from Piedmont.
