Our beloved Robert Dean Francisco, surrounded by his loving family, passed away peacefully to be with his Lord at his home on June 30, 2024, at 87. Bob was born in Lincoin County, Kansas, as one of seven children born to Verna and Dean Francisco with one surviving brother, Darrel and many nieces and nephews.
He married the love of his life, Lori, sharing 40 devoted years together. Bob loved the life he and Lori shared at their home in Piedmont. He is survived by daughters Luanne (Tom) and Tasha (Wayne), sons, Ronald and Chad (Connie) and his cherished granddaughter Peyton. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to
many.
Bob was the consummate entrepreneur, never hesitating to take on a new challenge and always an optimist. Bob moved to Oklahoma City in 1962 to start a lifelong journey of starting businesses with all of his passion. He founded night clubs, became a realtor, builder, inventor, rancher and raced and trained thoroughbred horses. He and Lori loved
to travel, including trips to Asia, Europe, Alaska and Central America. They lived the dream and cherished their many adventures.
Bob was always supportive and involved with his children’s lives and activities, which extended to their friends, who he always made feel part of the family.
He played as hard as he worked. He loved taking trips in his motorhome and always had a boat on the water. Sharing those experiences with his family and friends brought him so joy and happiness.
Bob’s easy-going manner and generosity endeared him to so many. His legacy is really the lives he touched and the inspiration he gave to the people in his life.
Services will be held at the Piedmont Methodist Church, 2525 Piedmont Rd N, Piedmont, OK, on July, 11 at 11 a.m. All who want to attend are welcome.
