Veterans will be appreciated at the Piedmont football game at home Friday, Sept. 8 at F&M Bank Stadium.
The home game is at 7 p.m. against Blanchard
At 6:40 p.m. a special salute will take place for veterans.
Veterans also get a free “Touchdown Burger,” according to a Facebook post by Piedmont Public Schools.
“Piedmont Schools is excited to honor our Veterans this Friday at the home Piedmont Wildcats football game!” the school posted.
The Piedmont Area Veterans Association, City of Piedmont and Piedmont Chamber of Commerce coordinate the special event before kickoff.
Piedmont football, ranked #7 in Class 5A, 2-0, hosts Blanchard 7 p.m. Friday.
