Bobbie Dale Dixon was born June 21, 1957, in Opp, Alabama. She died July 12, 2023, at her home in Piedmont, OK. A prayer service for Bobbie will be 6 p.m. Sunday, July 16 and Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am on Monday, July 17. Both services will be at Holy Trinity Church in Okarche with Rev. Lance Warren and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home, El Reno.
Bobbie was a child nutritionist with the Edmond Public Schools and a member of Holy Trinity Church.
On January 4, 1980, she married Dannie J. Dixon in Enterprise, Alabama. Dannie survives her. She is also survived by 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Stephanie Lynne Dixon of Edmond and Leslie Marie Dixon and Melanie and Tim Shearer of Piedmont; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Roger Miller of Samson, Alabama and Louie and Marcie Miller also of Samson; sister, Helen Hall of Geneva, Alabama and 5 grandchildren, Ridley Shearer, Decker Shearer, Asher Shearer, Ryder Shearer and Danny Dixon.
Her parents, William Henry and Edna Jeanette (Jordan) Miller preceded her in death.
Burial will be in Alabama at the First Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Samson under the direction of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva.
