NOBLE – Piedmont has proven adept at surviving and advancing this postseason.
Chloe Mays scored twice with Evey Sydnes and Serenity Crow netting one goal each as the Lady Wildcats coasted past Noble 4-0 Friday night in the quarterfinal round of the Class 5A playoffs.
Piedmont has now outscored its postseason opposition 10-0 in two matches.
Next, PHS (13-5) will host Collinsville (12-4) in the state semifinals Tuesday evening.
The Wildcats were not as successful. Santa Fe South ended the ‘Cats’ season with an 8-1 decision.
