The supply chain has not broken down when it comes to champagne.

Plenty of chilled champagne is on the shelves at Williams Foods in Piedmont, 410 Piedmont Road S.

Manager Jerry McCaul said there have been some recent low supplies of biscuits, and oddly enough, tanning supplies, although those items are out of season for sunscreen, the supply has been low. Other than that, no shortages like during some times during the pandemic when there might not be toilet paper.

“We have a full wine selection at the front and all kinds of good deals going on. We have about a little bit of everything for what anybody is looking for,” McCaul said.

Williams opens at 7 a.m. and stays open to 9 p.m. The grocery store will have regular hours Friday, New Year’s Eve and Saturday, New Year’s Day.
