Piedmont Mayor Kurt Mayabb rode a mechanical reindeer made out of a hay bale that could buck.

There was cotton candy from a Surrey Hills business, Gimme Sugar, featuring a pink and white trailer and Coleen Conine inside providing the gourmet treats.

Moonlight illuminated the parade route as people sat near the Piedmont First Baptist Church to watch. Children waited to pick up candy.
