Addison Underwood pitched a no-hitter with nine strikeouts as Piedmont coasted past Santa Fe South 13-0 in five innings in its regional opener Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Wildcats scored six times in the bottom of the first, four times in the second and tacked on three more runs in the third inning en route to the win.
Brinley Richards led Piedmont with two RBIs.
Piedmont will face the winner of Noble-Altus tonight at 6.
