The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association Wednesday released its Average Daily Membership numbers for the 2021-22 school year. The ADM shows Piedmont is on the brink of joining Class 6A.

Piedmont’s ADM of 1183.18 is 33rd in the state, making it the largest school in Class 5A and one notch away from joining the 32 largest schools in the state in Class 6A. The No. 32 school, Capitol Hill, has an ADM of 1192.53.

These ADM numbers will classify schools in football and baseball starting next season for two years and sports without districts, like basketball, softball and volleyball, this year.
