Piedmont basketball teams to face top-ranked Carl Albert for homecoming

The Piedmont basketball teams face top contenders in Class 5A Friday night, Feb. 5 for homecoming 2021.

The Lady Wildcats, 11-5, lost in overtime Tuesday, Feb. 2, to El Reno. The third-ranked girls play Carl Albert, 14-3, ranked fourth at 8 p.m. at Collett Field House after the boys game against the top-ranked Titans team that is also 14-3 on the year.

The Lady Wildcats lost to El Reno in overtime, 62-56 Tuesday.

A homecoming ceremony will follow the junior varsity boys game about 5:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. and the boys game will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by the girls playing second at 8 p.m.

The boys have not won a game yet this year and are 0-12. Carl Albert is ranked first by the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association.
