A fire heavily damaged a home in Piedmont Monday afternoon, Fire Chief Andy Logan said.

About 3:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, fire broke out in a home at 2003 Van Buren NE in the Rolling Prairie addition, Logan said.

The homeowners were in the house when the fire started but were able to get out safely.

There were no injuries in the blaze, Logan said.

The cause of the fire is undetermined, Logan said.

The 2,000 square foot home sustained about $100,000 damage, Logan said.

Firefighters from Piedmont were assisted by crews from the Deer Creek Fire Protection District and Oklahoma City Fire Department.
