A new Casey’s General Store is expected to open within a month in Piedmont.
The building is at the northwest corner of Piedmont Road and NW 178/Edmond Road.
The store is the seventh chains location in the Oklahoma City area and 46th in the state. It is expected to open Dec. 17, a Casey’s spokeswoman reports.
Another Casey’s General Store recently opened at the southwest corner of Sara Road and State Highway 66 just east of Yukon. The new store opened at 10600 W Highway 66 in late October.
Headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, Casey’s General Stores, Inc. is a Fortune 500 company that operates more than 2,200 convenience stores in 16 states.
Piedmont will have three convenience stores when the Casey’s store opens. Two other convenience stores, Wild Cat Stop, and City Stop are located at Piedmont Road and Monroe Avenue.
