A second COVID-19 death in Piedmont has been reported by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

The number of people who have died in Canadian County is 19, the health department reported Wednesday.

Piedmont has had 228 cases of COVID-19, two deaths caused by the virus and 191 people who have recovered from it, the health department reports.

The first death from COVID-19 in Piedmont was reported in July.

Canadian County has had 2,957 cases with 2,474 people having recovered since the pandemic began in March.

Kingfisher County has had 451 cases, two deaths and 393 people recover.
In Yukon, there have been 1,501 cases reported with six deaths and 1,250 people who have recovered.

El Reno has reported 525 cases, eight deaths and 433 people who have recovered.

Mustang has had 514 cases, three deaths and 439 people recover.

Kingfisher has had 167 cases, no deaths and 140 people recover.

Okarche has had 46 cases and 40 people recover with no deaths.
