Pumpkin patch open in Piedmont

The bright orange pumpkins have filled the green grass lot near the Simpson grain elevator in Piedmont for autumn evenings and weekend days.

Pumpkin sales are benefitting the Piedmont Round Up Club.

The club is looking for volunteers to help work the patch on Saturdays and Sundays.

All shapes and sizes of pumpkins, mums and straw bales are available. Profits benefit the Piedmont Roundup Club and area veterans.

People can pick their pumpkins from 3 p.m. until dark Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m Sundays through Oct. 30.
