Sunny skies across county as fall season arrives

The first day of fall Tuesday morning arrived with rainfall, but skies will be clear and sunny for the rest of the week in the new season.

Skies will be sunny Thursday, Friday and Saturday across Canadian County with high temperatures in the low 80s.

A chance for rain is ahead Saturday night and Sunday. There is a 20% chance of thunderstorms overnight. Once skies clear again, Sunday will be mostly sunny with a high near 77.

Yukon has had 33.94 inches of rain this year, and 17.11 inches in the last 90 days, the Oklahoma Mesonet website reports.

In 2019, Yukon had 47.22 inches of rain for the year.

In El Reno, there has been 27.18 inches of rain this year and 12.78 inches in the last 90 days.

El Reno had 42.70 inches of rain in 2019.
