The Piedmont Wildcats softball team jumped on the Noble Bears early with a display of offensive power Thursday night.


The Wildcats won 15-3.
In the second inning, Paige Atha, hit a homerun in an onslaught of scoring.
Piedmont is 20-4 this year. They won the 2019 fast pitch state championship in Class 5A with a 27-8 record. The team hopes to host regionals this year. There are seven games remaining before regionals.
The Lady Wildcats travels to Guymon to play 3 p.m. Saturday and then 6 p.m. Monday they play at El Reno. They will play at Purcell 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1.
