Piedmont Public Schools are reopening for in-person learning Thursday, Aug. 20, and staff members have prepared for students in the classrooms.
Masks are required for Piedmont schools.
Students in grades 7-12 will be in two groups, A and B, and will alternate school days in classrooms through Sept. 18.
District officials urge parents to review the back-to-school guidelines before sending their students to school on their first day. Guidelines can be reviewed on the Piedmont Schools website at piedmontschools.org. All students, teachers, and staff are all required to wear masks.
Motorists are urged to slow down in school zones.
The school hours at Piedmont schools follows:
Piedmont Early Childhood Center – School hours: 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
Kindergarten starts on Thursday, August 20
Pre K starts on Tuesday, August 25th with orientation days Friday, August 21st and Monday, August 24th. The Principal is Jennifer Carver, and Assistant Principal is Josie Ham.
