Piedmont’s Delanie Crawford has committed to play collegiately at Tulsa University.

The junior guard released a statement on social media two weeks ago, announcing her commitment to play for the Golden Hurricane.

“I am so thankful for all the opportunities basketball has given me,” Crawford said in her social media post. “Thank you to the coaches who have recruited me over the last few years. I would like to thank my teammates for being there through the ups and downs, my coaches for helping me become the player I am today, my family for supporting me no matter what and God for giving me the ability and this amazing opportunity.

“I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Tulsa University!!”

Crawford led Piedmont with 18.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while also averaging 1.8 assists and two steals. She helped lead the Cats to a 22-4 record in 2019-20, including second straight regional and area championships.
