EL RENO – After further discussion with Gov. Kevin Stitt and health officials, Redlands Community College has made the decision to extend providing on-campus classes via its online learning platform through April 10, according to a news release.

College offices and services will be open during its regular business hours with limited staffing during this period in order to maintain operations and be available to assist students as needed, the release states.

While Oklahoma school districts will be closed until April 6, concurrent classes will continue online. Students who have been taking concurrent college classes at their high schools should contact their instructors for more information about accessing the coursework online.

Redlands President Jack Bryant said, “Redlands has been working for the past two years to prepare all of our instructors to use the online learning platforms, so this should be a relatively smooth instructional transition.”

“While we understand that some students prefer learning in a classroom setting, we want to provide the safest learning opportunity for our students that helps them stay on track to achieve their educational goals.”

Students can access the online learning platform via their myRedlandscc.edu login. If they have any technical issues, they should email the Redlands Help Desk at Technology.Support@redlandscc.edu. Campus computer labs will also be available during regular business hours. The labs will be configured so that students maintain a safe distance while working.

Additional updates will be provided to students via the school’s text alert system and email, and online at www.redlandscc.edu.
