Nancy Rose (Mangram) McNeil

Nancy Rose (Mangram) McNeil, age 72, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020, with family by her side. She was born July 18, 1947 in Lawton, OK to Rev. Virgil and Wanda (Schaeffer) Mangram.

She started school in Hawaii and lived throughout Texas and Oklahoma as her parents were Assembly of God pastors. She attended Southwestern Assembly of God College in Waxahachie, TX where she was a member of the Harvester’s Choir. On January 1, 1977 she married the love of her life and they blended two families into one. She was a member of the Bridge Assembly of God since 1978 where she was the pianist, organist and member of the New Covenant Ensemble.

She worked at Hobby Lobby Corporate offices for many years but her main profession was standing with Jerry and working at the family funeral homes for the past 40 years. She and Jerry founded the McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service in March of 1997. Nancy loved music, playing or singing, traveling with Jerry and shoes, lots and lots of shoes! She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.

She is survived by her husband Jerry of 43 years, daughters; Shelley Groves and Brandon, Lynn Jones and Bradley, sons; Jim and Carma, Chuck and Matt and Paul, eleven grandchildren; Ryan, Mindy, T.J., Jesse, Allison, Reagan, Haley, Emily, Jackson, Josh and Jillian. As well as, three great grandchildren; Charlie, Silas and Eliot, special “brother and sister” Gary and Darlene Stephens. In lieu of flowers, family has asked that donations be made to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry Ministry at The Bridge A/G.
