Timothy E. McCoy, 65, Piedmont, OK entered the Heavenly Garden on 10-19-19 after suffering from complications due to an aneurysm.
Tim was born in Lincoln, NE. He was the son of Marvin and Shirley McCoy whom proceeded him in death.
Tim retired from The Williams Company in Tulsa, OK August 2014 where he was a Senior Legal Counsel of WPX. After retirement he began enjoying his true callings: gardening, fishing, family and his dogs Lola and Zoe!
Tim was known for his hospitality whether it be at their home or when on family vacations he loved to make sure everyone had fun and there was plenty of food. Especially dessert! His backyard was his paradise.
You could always find a new plant, shrub or tree thriving under his watchful eye. He loved to take his fishing boat to the lake where he enjoyed many trips with his brother.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce of 37 years; son Matthew (Ashlyn) McCoy, daughter Melinda (Derek) Muegge, brother Thomas (Teresa) McCoy, brother-in-law’s Kevin (Brenda) Gleason, Steve (Mary) Gleason sister-in-law Rhonda (Rob) McClelland. Nieces & nephews: Danielle, Jessica, Reed, Chase, Jake, Becky, Ben, Joe, Sam, Robert (Cate), Rodger (Raylee) & RaeLynn. Great nieces and nephews: Shailee, Jaelyn, Grayson, and Ryker.
A private celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2019. Memorial contributions can be made in Tim McCoy’s name to:
