Donald (Don) Eugene Grassman, 75, of Marshall, OK was called home on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019.

He was born November 7th, 1943 in Marshall, OK to Herbert &Almeda Grassmann. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1961 and attended college at both Oklahoma State University & Central State University. He went on to enlist in the Army & served from 1968-1971.

He was married to Melinda Hall from 1965-2002. After military service, he returned to Oklahoma City where he worked as an accountant for a number of years. He eventually retired from accounting & went back to his first love of farming; he spent most of his adult life working on the family farm with his father & brother.

He was a loving son, father, papa & friend. He enjoyed hunting & fishing with his sons & grandsons. But most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family especially his grandkids & great grandkids.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert & Almeda Grassmann and his brother Russell Grassmann.

He is survived by daughter, Heather Waller & husband Brad of Piedmont, OK; sons Devin Grassmann & wife Shannon and Darin Grassmann & wife Angela all of Piedmont, OK; sister-in-law Helen Grassmann of Edmond; 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and countless nieces, cousins, and extended family.

He is also survived by his best friend & companion, his dog Buck.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Piedmont United Methodist Church.

Services will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25th at the Piedmont United Methodist Church, Piedmont, OK, a burial service will follow at the South Marshall Cemetery in Marshal, OK under the direction of Groves~McNeil Funeral Service.
