Jimmy Dale Sanders, 58, of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Jimmy was born August 27, 1960 at Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of James Howard Sanders, and Geneva Marie (Capps) Sanders.
Jimmy grew up at and graduated high school at Piedmont, Oklahoma. He always enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting deer, fishing for catfish and tending to a garden. He was an awesome Dad that loved spending time with and cooking for his family. Jimmy provided care taking services for his father, James.
Jimmy is survived by his father, two sons, Chris Sanders of Vian, Oklahoma, Clint Kile of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma ; three sisters, Yvonne Davis of Vian, Oklahoma, Connie Barnett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Brenda Shearer and husband, David of Piedmont, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Haile Corn, Ayden Sanders, Kiley Coker, and Makayla Coker; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother-in-law, Michael Alexander.
Services for Jimmy will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Agent Millsap Event Center, Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Webbers Falls. Pastor Steve Spyres officiating. Viewing will be held for Jimmy Sanders on Wednesday March 20, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Agent Millsap Event Center, Gore, Oklahoma.
