For the Piedmont Lady Wildcats softball team, the honors seem to be never-ending.
This past weekend it was announced that seven Piedmont players were named to the Daily Oklahoman’s Big All-City softball roster for Class 5-6A.
Senior catcher and UCO commit Bre Davis garnered second team honors, while Jamie Lowrie also earned second team recognition for her play in the outfield.
Courtney Anderson, Michelle Brandon, Madison Morris, Kassidy Scott, and Logan Simunek were each named to the Honorable Mention list for the All-City roster.
Davis finished the season with a batting average of .408 to go with 10 home runs and a .877 slugging percentage.
Lowrie finished with an impressive average of .480, with 48 hits during her senior season. She also collected a .630 slugging percentage and a .535 on base percentage.
Anderson struck out 20 batters on the mound this season for the Lady Wildcats, to go with her .203 batting average and 14 hits.
Brandon led the Lady Wildcats in home runs this season with 11, which helped her earn a .327 batting average during the year. She also collected a .760 slugging percentage to go with 44 hits and 43 RBI.
Kassidy Scott led Piedmont with 57 hits during her sophomore season, to go with seven home runs. Scott also had a .496 batting average and a .834 slugging percentage.
Madison Morris registered a .389 average for her junior season, along with 37 hits and 24 RBI.
Simunek turned in a solid sophomore season with a .311 average to go with four home runs as part of her 23 hits and 14 RBI.
