Dr. Tamra States work to keep Piedmont backs feeling better at Piedmont Chiropractic.

States helped the well-being of the Piedmont Public School district with a fundraiser hosted at her office on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

All visits were offered for $40.

The event raised $1,000 for the district. People voted on which Piedmont school they wanted the money to go to, and it was a tie between the middle school and the high school, States said. So, the schools each get $500. She explained why she decided to have a fundraiser.

“Our kids are our future. We wanted to donate to help in some small way to provide school supplies as each school needs them,” States said.

The back-to-school fundraiser for Piedmont Schools was from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. New and established patients made a $40 donation for their appointment.

Piedmont Chiropractic is at 405-373-4554. The office is located at 325 N. Piedmont Road.
