In Loving Memory of George M. Tripp LCpl George Michael Tripp (USMC) who passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023.
George was a beloved Marine veteran, devoted father, husband, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and an exceptional human being. At age 38, George is survived by his wife Chelsie, daughter Shania (Seiling, OK), son Aaron (Piedmont, OK), daughter Lilith (Piedmont, OK), his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close and extended family members.
To his children he was love, strength, and guidance. To his family and friends, he was full of humor, wit, and deep caring. His infectious laughter and clever demeaner brightened our days, filling them with joy and happy memories that will forever linger in hearts and minds.
As a Marine veteran, George exemplified courage, honor, and selflessness. George’s service to our country reflects the depth of his character and the values he held dear. Beyond his military achievements, George was a “damn good mechanic” and “promising cabinetmaker”, showcasing his innate intelligence, skill, and organization.
His untapped potential hinted at a man capable of achieving anything he set his mind to. Though George may no longer be with us physically, his spirit remains woven into the pattern of our lives. The impact he made is a testament to the enduring nature of his presence. In our memories he is immortal, a constant source of inspiration and warmth.
George M. Tripp is deeply missed and will be forever loved. May he rest in peace and happiness, surrounded by the echoes of laughter and the love he shared so generously. “The ones we love never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they showed, the love they shared, and the memories they left behind.” In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org).
