The Piedmont Special Olympics volleyball team has a game with Yukon High School’s team this week.
The fundraising was underway Friday night at the Piedmont home football opener at F&M bank Stadium.
Channce Richardson wore a pair of red, white and blue sunglasses, replica of an Uncle Sam hat with white paper mustache and beard to match while working at a booth at the stadium entrance with Misty Orr, Lillie Baker, team coach and sponsor Kiley Rios, Katie Baker, Amber Ramsey and Richelle Gee.
Richardson’s volleyball team hosts Yukon 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 at the Wildcat Athletic Center. The team plays at Mustang 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, and against McLoud at home 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. The Wildcats team has a final home game at 6 p.m. Sept. 26.
