Gary Wayne Means passed away peacefully February 9, 2022, while holding his wife’s hand.
Gary was born on April 5, 1946 to Vivian and William Homer Means in Ventura, California. He married Sharlyn Lawrence in 1968 and they enjoyed 50+ years of marriage.
He was the loving father of Scott Preston Means (wife Melissa Jane) and Michele Means Robertson, and the proud grandfather of Nathan Means, Zachary Means and Riley Robertson. Gary was also fortunate to have three brothers, Bill Means, Larry Means (deceased) and Danny Means (deceased).
The family hosted a small gathering to celebrate Gary’s life, his jokes, and his favorite snacks – beef jerky and black licorice. See you soon Dad!
