Piedmont had its fair share of representation on the 5A-2 All-District team announced Friday.

Kicker Talon Cope was named Special Teams Player of the Year, James Maguire was tabbed as Defensive Lineman of the Year and Glendon Barnes earned Offensive Lineman of the Year honors.

That wasn’t all.

Offensive lineman Camdyn Cardwell, defensive lineman Carter Ashby and defensive back Cole Riggs were named first team all-district.

Jacob Copeland (running back), Caleb Bird (wide receiver), Dax Priddy (offensive line), Dawson Meador (linebacker) and Bryson Pais (defensive back) made the second team.

Piedmont finished the season 5-6 and earned its fourth straight playoff berth.
