When to trick or treat? That is the question.
In Piedmont, trick-or-treating from door-to-door will be on Halloween night, Sunday, Oct. 31, the official night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The downtown Halloween party is set for Saturday night.
The annual “Hometown Halloween” will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 on Monroe Avenue.
People of all ages are invited to wear costumes to the downtown festivities. There will be food booths, games, inflatable attractions, a live disc jockey, food trucks, a photo booth. Prizes will be given for best costumes.
The event is free to the public.
For the trick-or-treaters on Sunday night, people are urged to walk in groups and wear reflective clothing. Flashlights are also encouraged, as well as adult accompaniment for all children.
