Piedmont softball on Tuesday night hammered its Canadian County rival for the second time this season.

The Lady Wildcats got a home run and five RBI’s from Karissa Fiegener and collected 10 hits in a 13-2 run-rule win over El Reno.

PHS (10-1) trailed 2-0 after two innings, but rallied for five runs in the third inning and added six more in the fifth to pull away.

The Cats scored twice in the sixth for a walk-off win.

Payten Schibbelhute pitched all six innings and totaled four strikeouts to earn the win to improve to 2-0 on the year with a 2.10 ERA.

Fiegener’s three RBI’s upped her total on the season to 14, good for the team lead. She’s batting .538.

Piedmont won 12-6 at El Reno Aug. 19.

Next up, PHS will play Durant in the Shawnee Tournament beginning Aug. 26.
