Members of the Piedmont City Council are expected to discuss areas where road improvements are needed in their wards when they meet Monday, July 26.
The regular monthly meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at the George Fina Municipal building 314 Edmond Road N.W.
The agenda for the meeting lists discussion, consideration and possible action on identifying street projects for fiscal year 2021-2022 and modifying a 5-year capital improvement plan approved in January 2020.
City Councilman Jonathan Hisey, Ward IV, has stated he will propose work on Mustang Road from N.W. 164 to N.W. 178; N.W. 164 from Mustang to Sara roads; N.W. 220/Ash Road from Piedmont to Sara roads; N.W. 192/Arrowhead Road from Cemetery to Richland; Morgan Road from N.W. 206 to N.W. 192; N.W. 206/Apache Road from Sara to County Line roads, as well as emergency repairs at various locations and Apache Road safety improvements.
Other areas for improvement will also be proposed from council members at the meeting.
