Sales tax revenue for Piedmont was down for July.

Less money came in for July from sales tax revenues for the City of Piedmont, the

Oklahoma Tax Commission reports.

Piedmont’s deposit was $205,626 for July 2021, a drop of 7% compared to last

year. The July deposit includes sales tax collected in May and estimates

for a part of June.

The July 2020 sales tax deposit for Piedmont was $221,098, and that was $15,472

more than the deposit for July 2021.

Piedmont’s use tax revenue for July 2021 is $90,773 compared to $75,048 in July

2020.

Piedmont’s sales tax disbursement for June was $214,491, that was $40,906 more compared to $173,585 for June 2020, an increase of 23.56%, the Oklahoma Tax Commission reports.

The June disbursement is for sales tax revenues collected in April and estimated for part of May.

Use tax for June 2021 is $87,034 compared to $77,390 in June 2020.

Sales tax revenue for May was $229,299 compared to $220,748 in May 2020, for an increase this year of $8,551 or 3.87%.

Use tax for May was 102,944 compared to $60,865 in May 2020.

Piedmont’s sales tax revenue for April 2021 continued on an upward climb.

The tax commission reported an increase in use tax revenues too, keeping the year on a positive path out of a pandemic.

Piedmont sales tax revenue for April 2021 was $179,560 up $21,236, or 3.41% compared to $158,324 in April 2020, when revenues were affected when the pandemic shutdowns took place in March.

Use tax for April 2021 was up as well. The use tax revenue to Piedmont is $64,161 compared to April 2020 when it was $48,252.

The Piedmont sales tax revenue deposit for February 2021 was $197,428, the Oklahoma Tax Commission reports.

That compares to 197,179 in February 2020, a slight increase of $249.

Piedmont’s use tax revenue has gone up with the number of people shopping from home in a pandemic.

Use tax for Piedmont in February is $134,056 compared to $97,819 in February 2020.

The February sales and use tax revenue deposits for Piedmont are from collections in December and part of January.

Piedmont’s sales tax revenue has increased with a larger deposit for January, 2021.

Piedmont’s January deposit from the Oklahoma Tax Commission was $204,182 compared to $176,833 last year.

Use tax for January was $109,284 compared to $66,048 for January 2020.

Piedmont’s sales tax revenue also increased for the month of December,

The December monthly deposit from the tax commission is $196,575 compared to $188,780 for Piedmont in December, 2019, a 4.1% increase.

The use tax revenue for December is $97,782 compared to $49,370 in December, 2019, a 98% increase, the tax commission reports.

Piedmont’s sales tax revenue in November was $187,095, and that was an increase of $13 from 2019 when the amount of sales tax revenue was $187,082, the tax commission reported.

Use tax for November was $78,764 compared to $53,645 in November, 2019.

In October, Piedmont’s sales tax revenue was $325,271 compared to $246,526 in October, 2019, the tax commission reports.

Use tax in October was $89,977 compared to $48,856 in October, 2019.

September sales tax revenue was $219,650 compared to $198,158 in September, 2019.

September use tax revenue was $77,365 compared to $75,438 in September, 2019.

The sales tax revenue for August, 2020 hit $196,571 compared to $186,423 2019, a $10,148 increase, or 5.44%.
