After an awards assembly Monday at Piedmont High School, Malcom Williams was surprised by a crowd of people, including OGE officials and a banner with his name on it.
Michael Williams said his son has decided to attend the University of Oklahoma.
Malcom is planning to study engineering, and he is leaning toward either a bio-medical or energy field.
Malcom Williams spoke to the audience gathered outside the high school.
“Thank you to everybody here. This will help me through my college career and hopefully help me accomplish my goals and my dreams that I have to accomplish,” Malcom Williams said. “And thank you to everybody here just for being in high school with me and helping me and being there for me and my family. Thank you guys!”
