The 2020 Piedmont Turkey Day Trot raised money for foster families across the state, and the event had more participation than last year, despite the pandemic.

Dr. Cliff Layton and neighbors ran in their Piedmont housing addition. Others ran on their own or in smaller groups due to COVID-19 safety precautions.

The event was a success this year, and it drew a larger group of runners on a sunny day. Read more in The Piedmont-Surrey Gazette County section.
