The driver of a car lost control and hit a tree on Friday morning, November 13. An ambulance took one person to a local hospital. The accident occurred on Northwest Expressway just east of Piedmont Road, slowing morning traffic at the busy intersection.

The Oklahoma City Police Department’s assistant public information officer Sgt. Megan L. Morgan said, “This morning around 8:30 a.m. officers responded to a wreck on Northwest Expressway near Piedmont Road. A black vehicle appeared to have lost control, struck another vehicle, and finally struck a tree. The driver was transported to a local hospital, but it appears no one was critically injured.”
Three Oklahoma City police cars, one Oklahoma City fire engine, and EMSA responded to the incident.
