First death from COVID-19 in Canadian County reported

Canadian County has had its first death from COVID-19, the Oklahoma State Department of Health has reported.

There are 19 people with COVID-19 in Canadian County Tuesday, while statewide, the number of cases has risen to 565, the health department reported.

The virus has claimed 23 lives in Oklahoma.

Several cases have been reported at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital.

The age range of those with COVID-19 in Oklahoma is infant to 95 years-old. The median age of those with the virus is 58 years-old.

There are 155 cases reported in Oklahoma County. Statewide, 177 people are hospitalized Tuesday.
