Geraldine Urban Hodges went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 17, 2019. Gerry was born in Tuttle to the late Wilbur C. Boyer and Earline D. Hardy. Gerry and late husband Don D. Urban moved to Piedmont in 1976, where she became involved in her community. She enjoyed membership in Zeta Rho Sorority, Triad, Red Hats, Book Club, Travelers Club, Seniors and was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church.
Gerry is survived by her loving husband, Mickey Hodges of Piedmont Oklahoma; devoted children Don D. Urban II of Yukon, Charles Thomas and Joyce Carolyn Urban of Piedmont, and Susan Kay and Jerry Lee Scott of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Lark Alexandra and Matthew Vincent Toney of Tacoma, Washington, Cameron Mason, Connor Quaid and Kaylee Nicole Scott, all of Oklahoma City; and brothers Michael Earl Hardy of Oklahoma City and William Ralph and Lori Kay Hardy of Oklahoma City. Her kind, compassionate and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation Sunday, March 24, from noon to 8 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Oklahoma City; family will be receiving from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held in honor of Gerry at Piedmont United Methodist Church, Monday, March 25, at 10 a.m., with a burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
