Piedmont’s Kenedi Morelock is in a league of her own.
Morelock, who’ll be a junior for the Lady Wildcat softball team this season, was the only player from Oklahoma selected to the National Fast Pitch Coaches Association First Team All-Region squad this week.
As a sophomore, Morelock batted .505 with a .549 on-base percentage while scoring a team-high 48 runs with 21 RBI’s. She also had a team-high 42 stolen bases to bring her career total to 67.
Defensively, Morelock served as a speedy, slick-fielding center fielder for the Lady Wildcats.
The South Central region covers Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Morelock will play college softball, Piedmont head coach Keith Coleman said, but she has not narrowed down her options yet.
