The following day, Saturday, Oct. 26, the Pride of Piedmont will participate in the class 4A-5A marching band championship in Mustang. The Pride of Piedmont is scheduled to have their preliminary performance at 3:45 p.m. and finals begin at 7:00 p.m.
The Pride is looking to add another state title to its already impressive total of 11.
The following is the band’s itinerary:
9:30 Rehearsal begins at practice field. (Street clothes) but recommend having full uniform with you.
10:45 Rehearsal ends. Load equipment, change clothes.
11:45 Attendance taken in HS band room
— All members (whether marching or not) ***
–Wear bibbers + Black t-shirt
–Have top of uniform and complete chance of clothes hanging in garment bag
–at some point today you will wear member shirt or show shirt + jeans
–have shako, gauntlets and gloves in shako box
**Pit and guard may have different instructions, talk to your staff
12:00 Depart PHS
12:45 Arrive at Mustang HS
*** Food will be available from 1:00-2:15. Please eat something after your initial unload/preparation duties are completed
2:25 Percussion meeting in trailer w/ all uniform and equipment ready
2:40 Performance block
2:45 Warmup begins
4:00 Take group picture and then senior + section pictures. Secure equipment and change out after.
4:30 Prelims end/drum major only awards
5:30 Dinner is served -by the Piedmont band boosters. Free for students, charge for others.

7:00 Finals begin***
10:00 Finals end
10:15 Full massing of bands/announcement of scores
10:45 Final load, change, etc.
12:00 Arrive in Piedmont and unload
***All members, whether marching or not, will be in uniform for both performances. Members not marching at particular performance will be minus shakos, plumes, gloves and gauntlets. This will allow all members to be in full uniform for pictures and for massing/awards.
